Are you new to A Training Vision?

Ampara Visser and A Training Vision assistant trainers offer lessons at Persimmon Tree Farm in Haymarket, VA or offsite lessons in the Haymarket, Clifton, and surrounding areas.

After setting an initial lesson, new ATV riders need to electronically sign the Policies and Release of Liability Waiver linked below. All riders must bring a ASTM/SEI certified riding helmet and healed boots.

Barn Rules

  •   No smoking

  •   Closed toe shoes must be worn at all times in the barn and any equine areas

  •   Do not feed or handle any horse without permission

  •   Children 12 and under must be supervised at all times

  •   Please close doors and turn off lights when not in use

  •   Please clean up after your horse in the wash stall, barn aisle, and arena

  •   Please clean bridles after use

  • Riders must wear an ASTM/SEI certified safety helmet when mounted

Policies

Welcome to A Training Vision! Your observation of the following policies will help make the most out of your sessions and allows A Training Vision to run smoothly and stay focused on providing quality training and instruction to you and your horse.

  • Monthly fees are due by the 10th of each month. Payment received after the 10th of each month will be considered delinquent and a 10% charge will be applied.

  • Payment for irdividual sessions is due upon receipt of service, and a 10% charge will be applied if payment is received later than 30 days after original service.

  • Unless due to unsafe riding weather or illness or injury of horse or rider, cancellations must be made 24 hrs in advance or service will be charged in full. Any cancellation made without notification will be charged in full. Riders are permitted two illness or injury cancellations with less than 24 hrs notice per three month period. Additional illness or injury cancellations made with less than 24 hrs notice will be charged in full. In the case of inclement weather, please do not assume cancellation; lessons may be conducted at a nearby facility.

  • Sessions will be concluded at the end of your scheduled time slot. That means if you are completely ready to work by your scheduled session we can make the most of your time.

  • If assistance with tacking up is required for a ride or lesson, this will be considered part of the regular session time.

  • School horses are not to be mounted out of the supervision of the instructor unless previously discussed.

  • Except in the event of an emergency, phone hours, including text messaging, are 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. A $10 charge will be applied to any non emergency texts or phone calls received outside of those hours.
